Materials
DWR (Durable Water Repellent): A special coating on the material that increases its resistance to water. It works by reducing the surface tension of the fibres - the liquid does not soak into the fabric, but forms droplets on the surface that simply slide down. This keeps the outer layer of the garment dry and light, which is crucial for the proper functioning of the breathable membranes underneath. Although DWR is not a complete waterproof barrier, it reliably protects against drizzle and dirt. To maintain the effect, it is advisable to renew the treatment over time with special impregnation products.
100% Polyester: a very strong synthetic fiber that boasts high heat resistance and excellent odor absorption
700: Insulation 700 refers to high quality, high fill goose down that provides exceptional warmth with minimal weight. It retains heat perfectly and is breathable at the same time.
