Materials
Textile: Textile uppers are a lightweight and highly breathable upper construction solution that uses woven or knitted structures of natural and synthetic fibres. This type of upper is valued in the footwear industry for its extraordinary ability to adapt to the shape of the foot, minimising the formation of blisters and ensuring high user comfort. Thanks to the porous structure of the material, textile uppers allow for efficient heat and moisture dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining an optimal microclimate even under increased physical stress. In addition, modern textile processing technologies allow reinforcement zones to be integrated directly into the knit, achieving an ideal balance between stability and flexibility.
Synthetics: The material of the upper includes a wide range of man-made fibres and laminates that are designed to overcome the limits of natural materials. The main advantages are low weight, high strength and fast drying ability. Modern synthetic materials are often developed with an emphasis on breathability and resistance to external influences such as moisture or mechanical damage. Thanks to their technological variability, they allow the production of specific textures and structures that provide the foot with the necessary support and flexibility while maintaining easy maintenance.
Microfiber
Regular
Natural cork: Sustainable material derived from the bark of cork oak. Prized in the shoe industry for its unique cellular structure, which contains millions of air cavities, giving the material exceptional lightness and shock absorption. The cork is naturally elastic, breathable and has a low thermal conductivity, which ensures an optimal microclimate inside the shoe. One of its greatest strengths is its ability to gradually mould itself to the anatomy of the wearer's foot, providing individual support and high comfort for long-term wear.
Rubber: It is one of the most widely used materials for the production of soles due to its high mechanical resistance and durability. The main advantage of rubber soles is their excellent grip (traction) on different types of surfaces, which minimises the risk of slipping. The material is naturally flexible, waterproof and effectively absorbs shocks during walking. Depending on the compound, the rubber can be either soft for better contact with the ground or hard for maximum abrasion resistance on rough terrain.
EVA: Features a lightweight and highly functional shoe bottom solution that combines cushioning capabilities and structural support. Unlike conventional rubber soles, it features a significantly lower weight and a higher degree of flexibility, ensuring smooth and natural foot movement. The material effectively absorbs vibrations generated by contact with hard surfaces, reducing the stress on the joints and spine. EVA soles are often used in leisure and urban footwear due to their soft tread and ability to retain their shape during everyday use.
