EVA: Polymeric foam material valued for its exceptional lightness, flexibility and ability to absorb shock. In footwear construction, it is mainly used in midsoles, where it acts as a key cushioning layer protecting the musculoskeletal system from hard impacts. The material is made up of thousands of microscopic air bubbles that compress under load and then return to their original shape. EVA is also highly resistant to low temperatures, does not absorb water and is biologically inert, making it a safe and versatile material for sports and leisure footwear.

Unlike conventional rubber soles, it features a significantly lower weight and a higher degree of flexibility, ensuring smooth and natural foot movement.
