Materials
DWR (Durable Water Repellent): A special coating on the material that increases its resistance to water. It works by reducing the surface tension of the fibres - the liquid does not soak into the fabric, but forms droplets on the surface that simply slide down. This keeps the outer layer of the garment dry and light, which is crucial for the proper functioning of the breathable membranes underneath. Although DWR is not a complete waterproof barrier, it reliably protects against drizzle and dirt. To maintain the effect, it is advisable to renew the treatment over time with special impregnation products.
100% Nylon: is known for its simple maintenance and high resistance, it is a relatively hard material.
600: Insulation 600 refers to a high quality goose down with a medium fill that provides good warmth at a low weight. It effectively retains body heat while remaining breathable. Ideal for cooler weather, everyday wear and light outdoor activities. A jacket with this insulation is warm, lightweight and comfortable.
