Materials
Omni-Heat™: Columbia's thermo-reflective technology that helps retain heat without adding bulk to clothing. The system forms silver dots on the inside of the lining that reflect your own body heat back to you. The spaces between the dots then provide breathability to allow sweat and excess moisture to escape. The result is a 20% increase in thermal comfort while keeping the garment lightweight, making it the perfect choice for chilly days in the city and on the mountain.
Omni-Shield™: Advanced protective barrier that repels water and resists stains. It works on the principle of low surface tension, so that liquids (water, coffee or mud) do not run into the fibres but simply slide down the surface. The material does not soak in, remains lightweight and dries up to 5 times faster than conventional fabrics. It's the perfect technology for changeable weather, protecting you from light rain and unexpected urban traffic.
