Reebok DMX
The 1990s are referred to as the golden era, while the noughties often garner conflicting views. Still, opinions can vary, and the Reebok DMX sneakers serve as an example. Their unique wavy design, rounded shapes and DMX technology that adds comfort to your stride are proof of that. Reebok says of the DMX sneakers that they have a "design that lets you go with the flow". But we believe that with the Reebok DMX you're going completely against the flow - after all, don't you want to be just like everyone else?
Materials
Textile: Textile uppers are a lightweight and highly breathable upper construction solution that uses woven or knitted structures of natural and synthetic fibres. This type of upper is valued in the footwear industry for its extraordinary ability to adapt to the shape of the foot, minimising the formation of blisters and ensuring high user comfort. Thanks to the porous structure of the material, textile uppers allow for efficient heat and moisture dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining an optimal microclimate even under increased physical stress. In addition, modern textile processing technologies allow reinforcement zones to be integrated directly into the knit, achieving an ideal balance between stability and flexibility.
Synthetics: The material of the upper includes a wide range of man-made fibres and laminates that are designed to overcome the limits of natural materials. The main advantages are low weight, high strength and fast drying ability. Modern synthetic materials are often developed with an emphasis on breathability and resistance to external influences such as moisture or mechanical damage. Thanks to their technological variability, they allow the production of specific textures and structures that provide the foot with the necessary support and flexibility while maintaining easy maintenance.
DMX Foam: Reebok cushioning: durable polyurethane foam with channels/chambers in which air moves during the cushioning process. This provides flexible shock absorption and distributes pressure from heel to toe. It is often designed as a double layer - softer on top for comfort, firmer on the bottom for support and stability.
Rubber: It is one of the most widely used materials for the production of soles due to its high mechanical resistance and durability. The main advantage of rubber soles is their excellent grip (traction) on different types of surfaces, which minimises the risk of slipping. The material is naturally flexible, waterproof and effectively absorbs shocks during walking. Depending on the compound, the rubber can be either soft for better contact with the ground or hard for maximum abrasion resistance on rough terrain.
