adidas Japan W
A sleek silhouette, low profile, and subtle retro touch: the women's sneakers Japan from adidas Originals in yellow align perfectly with the current trend of understated sneakers that exude lightness and sophistication. This model draws inspiration from archival running shoes, retaining a narrow shape and a simple line devoid of unnecessary embellishments. The yellow adds a pop of color to your outfit while remaining delicate, allowing for easy coordination with both neutral and bolder pieces.
The upper combines smooth leather and suede. The leather reinforces the shoe's structure, while the suede adds a velvety texture and vintage character. The rubber outsole ensures reliable traction on urban surfaces, and the low cut leaves the ankle free. These sneakers can be styled with straight jeans, wide trousers, or a midi skirt, and they even stand out with dresses when paired with short socks. They also complement a relaxed blazer for a polished look with a casual detail. adidas Originals is a line from the German brand adidas, founded by Adolf Dassler in Herzogenaurach. Under the trefoil logo, it focuses on archival models and their modern reissues for everyday wear.
adidas Japan
Pure minimalism with an Olympic story - adidas Japan
Are you searching for sneakers that will undoubtedly make you stand out from the crowd while also embracing a clean retro design? The adidas Japan sneakers are currently one of the hottest hidden treasures from the three stripes' archive. Originally created for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964 as training shoes for elite athletes, we bring you this vintage piece at Queens, ready to elevate your everyday style to a new level.
A low-profile gem that replaces the Samba models
If you enjoy modern trends such as blockecore or terrace culture, but find the ubiquitous Samba or Gazelle silhouettes a bit tiresome, adidas Japan is the clear choice for you. They feature an extremely low profile, a thin rubber sole, and the iconic T-toe tip. The upper made of premium soft leather or luxurious suede perfectly conforms to the foot, making the shoe fit almost like a second skin. At Queens, we appreciate them for their incredible versatility – they pair beautifully with wide baggy jeans, cargo pants, and summer shorts.
Interesting facts that will captivate you:
- Born in Tokyo 1964: The shoes were specifically designed for athletes at the summer Olympics in Japan over 60 years ago.
- The perfect alternative: They offer the same elegant and narrow retro shape as other popular silhouettes, but you will rarely encounter them on the streets. A true unique piece for all sneaker enthusiasts.
- Heel loop: The faithful retro reissue retains the specific textile heel loop, making it easier to put on and giving the shoe an authentic vintage look.
- High version VH: In addition to the low classic, the adidas Japan VH (Very High) version has also shaken the fashion world – an ultra-high shoe inspired by boxing rings that has become a massive hit on social media.
